SYNOPSIS
When a woman from a small southern Baptist town in Arkansas loses her daughter in a mysterious death, she finds that what used to be a sanctuary becomes suffocating and she must get out. She ventures to Clarksdale, Mississippi, where her estranged childhood friend now owns a blues bar. She gains notoriety as a blues singer and begins to uncover clues that could lead to her daughter’s murderer.
